“We are being formed by our devices.”
Trained at Yale and UVA, sociologist Felicia Wu Song will help us consider the surprising ways that our social media and technology habits can disrupt our connections with each other and even with God—and how we can recover our sense of personhood and place.
Dr. Song has spent years studying the personal and collective dynamics of digital ecosystems. She combines psychological, neurological, and sociological insights with theological reflection to explore two major questions:
- What kind of people are we becoming with personal technologies in hand?
- And who do we really want to be?
